Did you know that writing down your goals and committing to an action plan greatly improve your chances of success? That’s probably because it is easier to get where you’re going if you have a destination in mind. Setting goals helps you get where you want to go, when you want to get there, and what steps you can take to arrive on schedule. With so many demands on your time, setting goals keeps you focused on what you want to achieve.

Goals can be short term (this week, month or term), medium, or long term (five years plus). Your goals depend on your values, objectives, resources and lots of other factors. Here is a SMART examples table.
